intoPIX is active in image processing, video compression and security technologies and gathers and processes your personal information in accordance with this privacy notice and in compliance with the relevant data protection Regulation and laws.

A new data privacy law of the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), goes into effect on the 25th of May 2018.

This notice provides you with the necessary information regarding your rights and our obligations, and explains how, why and when we process your personal data. 

Information that we collect

intoPIX processes your personal information to meet our legal, statutory and contractual obligations and to provide you with our products and services. 

We will never collect any unnecessary personal data from you and do not process your information in any way, other than as specified in this notice.

The personal data that we collect from is:

  • Name
  • Job title
  • Professional Affiliation
  • Professional Address
  • Professional Shipping/Mailing Address
  • Professional e-mail
  • Professional Telephone Numbers
  • IP Address (concerning website connection)

Ways of collection

We collect information in the below ways:

  • Online forms
  • Contractual processes between your company and intoPIX
  • E-mails or messages you sent to one of our staff members
  • Call to our staff members, visit to our headquarters or stands during an exhibition
  •  Business cards you gave to one of our staff members
  • Cookies (concerning website connection)

Purposes and reasons for processing your personal data

The purposes and reasons for processing your personal data are detailed below:

  • Where we have your consent, we will occasionally send you marketing information.
  • We collect your personal data in the performance of a contract, to provide our goods and services and to ensure that orders are completed and can be sent out to your preferred address, as well as for warranty services.
  • We collect and store your personal data as part of our legal obligation for business accounting and tax purposes fraud investigations, assisting law enforcement and any other legal obligations placed on us from time to time.
  • In our legitimate interests of providing the best service and improving and growing our business we will process information in order to provide you with a personalized service, for abandoned carts, improve our products and services, keep our site and systems safe and secure, understand our customer base and purchasing trends, defend against or exercise legal claims and investigate complaints, understand the effectiveness of our marketing and, where we have assessed that it is beneficial to you as a customer and in our interests, send certain marketing communications, and to deliver relevant advertising to you, notify you about changes to our service, administer our site and for internal operations, including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, research, statistical and survey purposes, ensure that content from our site is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer

Safeguarding measures

intoPIX takes your privacy seriously. We work hard to protect you and your information from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction and have several layers of security measures in place, including SSL, TLS, encryptions, pseudonymisation and restricted access

Sharing and disclosing your personal information

We will never sell or extract any financial value from your personal information by passing them to interested third-parties willing to commerce these personal data.

Nevertheless, we may pass on your personal information to third-parties acting as data processors on behalf of intoPIX and which renders specific services to intoPIX.
Please note that we will ensure that all data processors acting on our behalf only process your data in accordance with instructions from us and comply fully with this data protection laws and ensure confidentiality and have security measures in place.
The following third-parties currently intervene as data processors to intoPIX:

Google Analytics. When you browse our website or interact with an email that we send to you, we may use Google Analytics to collect information about your behaviour regarding browsing our website and the emails we send. This may include details of your operating system, location, IP address, browser ID, browsing activity, and other information about how you interacted with our digital platforms. The data we access through Google analytics is anonymous, we do not store any personally identifiable information.

Google Adwords & Google Remarketing. Google Adwords may use cookies to analyse behaviour, track movements around the website, provide targeted advertisements, and gather demographic information. You have the right to access any personal information that intoPIX processes about you and to request information about:

  • What personal data we hold about you
  • The purposes of the processing
  • The categories of personal data concerned
  • The recipients to whom the personal data has/will be disclosed
  • How long we intend to store your personal data for
  • If we did not collect the data directly from you, information about the source

If you believe that we hold any incomplete or inaccurate data about you, you have the right to ask us to correct and/or complete the information and we will strive to do so as quickly as possible; unless there is a valid reason for not doing so, at which point you will be notified.

You also have the right to request erasure of your personal data or to restrict processing (where applicable) in accordance with the data protection laws; as well as to object to any direct marketing from us. Where applicable, you have the right to data portability of your information and the right to be informed about any automated decision-making we may use.

intoPIX may modify this notice but in this case, you will be notified regarding these changes  (incl. on this page) with the opportunity to revoke your consent to the processing of your personal data subject to the new dispositions.

The consent of the visitor must be obtained in order to access the intoPIX Online Chat.

When you permit intoPIX to scan your badge during an exhibition, which requests from you the provision of some of your Personal Data, intoPIX (as a potential Data Controller) wishes to inform you (as a potential Data Subject) about the following:


intoPIX reminds you that you (as an attendee) consent to sharing your contact information with intoPIX, allowing intoPIX to contact you after the show under the legal grounds of "legitimate interest"..

If the visitor prefer not to share personal data, the visitor must refuse to have his badge scanned during the exhibition.
Within the initial contact after the event, intoPIX provides with an option to opt out of future mailings & emails.
